Hi guys ^^ I am one month post-op of a double eyelids surgery at WANNABE. Here is my review of the clinic in detail. *Before I had such thick skin without double eyelids. The worst part is that I could hardly cover it with makeup due to severe asymmetry. That is why I started to consider having an eye surgery and eventually chose WANNABE among other candidates. What impressed me with the hospital is I could actually have a consultation with the doctor who performs the operation and because of that I felt at ease. Plus, he explained the surgery and what I might need and tried to make me comfortable. Finally I opened up my heart to WANNABE with respect and to the doctors. The consultant was also friendly and kind . She made me feel like I was a VIP customer and she let me finalize my expected surgery date for my convenience. *On the day of the surgery Before entering to the operation room, I had a chance to see my doctor and he gave me a full explanation of the surgery plan. It was my first experience of having any kind of surgery in my entire life so I was extremely nervous but the consultant was there for me holding my hand to calm me down until the surgery began. When I was given the anesthetic , everything became peaceful all of a sudden. It was an incision method so I had a little stinging pain on the surgical site. After the surgery, I took bed rest for a while and headed back to home wearing a mask and a hat I had brought. I could sense that my face got swollen. *A week after the surgery In this period of time, I often had some problems with swelling and discomfort. I t was a little hard for me to close my eyes because I did epicanthoplasty with an incision method In order to reduce swelling, I used an ice pack massage regularly as the hospital had instructed me to do and it seemed the swelling and the bruises began to heal faster. *After S/O The scariest thing to me was the day for stitch removal. It took only a short time as the nurse did the disinfection and simply cut off the stitches by scissors. I couldn't feel anything other than some stinging and poking during the dressing. On my second follow up day, the nurse put some ointment on the surgical area and told me to do the warm pack massage . But I preferred to do an ice pack massage so I did both. *A month It seemed most of sawelling issue got so much better and it was hard to notice that there were incision marks in general except when I closed my eyes. Basically the redness around the medial area of my eyes stayed for two weeks not more than that. I was excited about I can put eye makeup on my face that defined my eyes and I don't think I found any damaged or destroyed skin on the incision site. More importantly, my asymmetry eyes finally became even. *Two months I have been hearing a lot of compliments from the people around me and saying my eyes look beautiful and so natural even though it has been only two months after the surgery. (None of my friends could not recognized my eyes unless I told them hehe) I recommended "Wannabe" to a few of my friends thinking about having a plastic surgery. Nowadays, putting makeup is not stressful to me at all and it’s so easy to put eyeliner because they look so natural as mine. What I love the most is my eyes look bigger and defined when taking photos of myself . I do not regret that I decided to do the surgery. I just hope my eyelids get heal and look not red.
